Durga Puja 2019 : Theme of 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' at a Durga Puja Pandal in Bongaigaon

Durga Puja 2019 : 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' themed Durga Puja Pandal was made in Bongaigaon to increase the awareness of people to the declining Child sex ratio and related issues of women empowerment and aims to change the mindsets to value girl child.

Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Say No to Plastic' campaign, only clay was used to make the various articles in and around the pandal.
