Three Excise officials die in Sumo-Dumper collision in Golaghat

In yet another horrifying road accident near Morongi village in Golaghat, two Excise Intelligence Bureau officials and one police constable died on the spot after a severe head on collision between a Tata Sumo car (AS 01AJ 0401) and dumper truck (NL 05G 1049) on Wednesday night.

Soon after the road accident, the Tata Sumo car caught fire leading to the death of Samu Maibangsa (Excise officer) and Ramen Bonjang (Constable) on the spot.

As per reports, a team of six Excise Intelligence Bureau was heading for Guwahati from Golaghat when their car collided with a dumper truck coming from the opposite direction.

The other four injured excise officials were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, however, one of the excise officials Harekrishna Kumar was declared brought dead.
