15 Injured in Protest over ST Status in Kokrajhar district, Assam

At least 15 persons, including security personnel, were injured and vehicles damaged during the 8 hours railway blockade by the All Assam Koch Rajbongshi Sanmilani supported by All Koch Rajbongshi Students Union at Choutara railway station in Kokrajhar . The agitating protestors attacked the security officials and in retaliation they had to lathi-charge and use tear gas.
