5 kg suspected Ganja worth Rs 40,000 recovered from Rajdhani Express

he Government Railway Police (GRP) at Guwahati Railway Station seized around 5 kg suspected Ganja worth Rs 40,000 from Rajdhani Express and apprehended one person at around 7 am today from platform no 1.

The apprehended person was identified as Bhaskar Baruah (23) from Kenedi Park under Mariani Police Station in Jorhat.

Notably, the patrolling team of GRP unit at Guwahati Railway Station recovered the suspected Ganja from Bhaskar during the checking of the stationary Rajdhani Express (12423).

Legal formalities will be initiated and action will be taken against the apprehended person, informed the GRP officials.
