AASU staged two hour sit-in demonstration against CAA 2019 in Charaideo

The members of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) of Sivasagar Unit and Charaideo Unit jointly staged two hour sit-in protest against the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 near Lachit Udayan in Sonari on Friday.

The student's body urged the Government of Assam not to play with the sentiments of the people of Assam. They also mentioned that fascist politics by the BJP Government won't be tolerated by the people of Assam.
