AASU workers staged massive protest over CAB on Tuesday in Guwahati.

The protest was staged in front of Swahid Nyas Bhawan on the occasion of 'Swahid Diwas'. Widespread protests erupted in NE and normal life was affected as NESO called for an 11-hour NE Bandh on Tuesday. Lok Sabha cleared the controversial CAB on late Monday night after 12-hour debate.

Bandh supporters stopped vehicles plying and sporadic incidents of violence were also reported. Elaborate security arrangements were made to avert any untoward incidents.
