Anti-CAA stir continues in Assam: Janatar Hoonkar in Sarupathar

Protests against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Sunday continued as Janatar Hoonkar in Sarupathar under Golaghat district.

The All Assam Minority Students' Union (AAMSU), an influenced students' body in Assam, organized a massive protest "Janatar Hoonkar" in the general field of Sarupathar.

More than 500 people had gathered in the protest held at Sarupathar general field under Golaghat district and demanded the rollback of the contentious Act.
