Assam Pradesh Yuva Congress worker gherao Asom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan office

Assam Pradesh Yuva Congress on Tuesday gheraoed Asom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan office at Kahilipara in Guwahati.

The members of the Youth Congress today staged a massive protest and demanded justice for mid-day meal workers.

Members also chanted anti-BJP slogans in the morning hours today.

Notably, Assam Government had handed over the responsibility of cooking and distribution of mid-day meals to the NGOs in the state.
