Boy tried to kidnap young girl at Karbi Anglong, Assam

A 15-year old young lady was kidnapped on 28 July at Karbi Anglong district. As reported, the young lady was traveling by bus from Jirikideng to Jengkha with her sister in law. All of a sudden a boy named Mahmad Shah Milal (20)took the girl into his bike by force at a public place. People who were witnessing the incident informed the local police immediately. The parents of the girl filed a complaint against the boy at Kheroni Police Station under 92/18 U/S 363/366/511/34 IPC. Various associations including Karbi Student Union is demanding proper justice for the incident
