Committee demands refund after singer Zubeen Garg refuses to sing in Patacharkuchi

On Sunday Zubeen Garg was scheduled to perform at Barpeta's Patacharkuchi but he arrived almost two hours late at the venue as he stated that he was stuck in traffic.He arrived at 12 mid night. After Zubeen got on the stage he immediately announced that one of his sisters is in the ICU of a hospital in Jorhat and she may not survive, so he was sad and mentally disturbed. He added that he will not be able to sing many songs as he was very sad.Committee demanded a refund of the agreed amount which was Rs 5.30 lakh.

Zubeen's manager later confirmed that the complete agreed amount has been returned to the committee.
