Elephant calf rescued in Kapilipara in Lanka

An Elephant calf of about 2 month old which got separated from a herd of around 30-40 Elephant which had entered Kapilipara in Lanka on Thursday night in search of food from Forest .Today morning local people saw the calf wandering alone and informed Lanka Forest Department who rescued and brought it to their office. The baby Elephant is likely to be released into Kaziranga Forest later on informed Forest Department.
