House maid arrested for allegedly murdering elderly woman in Tinsukia

Tinsukia police have arrested a woman named Maya Kaldi, the house maid who was allegedly involved in the murder of an elderly woman on Monday night at Das para colony in Tinsukia's Borpathar area.

According to the information received yesterday evening, the accused woman was arrested by Tinsukia Police near the Parbatia Road and brought her to the Tinsukia Sadar Police Station for interrogation.

The accused woman during interrogation confessed to her crime.
