Jorhat Journalists wear black badges to protest against attack on fellow journalist Kankan Sarma

The Journalists Association in Jorhat wore black badges as mark of protest against attack on a journalist namely Kankan Sarma by unidentified miscreants at Baruah Chariali near Nehru Park on January 7, 2020.

As per reports, two bike borne miscreants attacked and abused Kankan Sarma for writing against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019.

Meanwhile, the Journalist Association in Jorhat demanded immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the attack on Kankan Sarma.
