KMSS leaders Akhil Gogoi, Dharjya Konwar and Bitu Sonowal produced before Kamrup CJM Court

KMSS leaders Akhil Gogoi, Dharjya Konwar and Bitu Sonowal were produced before Kamrup CJM Court in Guwahati on Saturday.

The Assam Crime Branch sought custody of peasant leader Akhil Gogoi among other two leaders, however, the court turned down the plea of the Crime Branch.

Notably, KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi was arrested under the stringent UAPA amidst the widespread protests in Assam over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
