Man-Elephant conflict continues in West Karbi Anglong

From last several months' local people residing in the areas of Nowaibeel, Shivpur, Disao Basti Lamsakhang in West Karbi Anglong are being spending sleepless nights due to the ongoing Man-elephant conflict.

Agitated locals blamed Forest Department for the failure.

Notably, over 1 bigha of sugarcane fields have been reportedly destroyed by the herd of wild elephants since past one month.
