Mass convention held at Merapani in Golaghat district under the aegis of KMSS

A mass convention at Merapani in Golaghat district was held under the aegis of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) with the pledge not to allow an inch of land of the state to Nagalim regarding the formation of Greater Nagalim. The organisation demanded that a special Assembly session should be called to discuss the issue. Furthermore, the organisation demanded that the central govt. and NSCN (IM) framework agreement for solution to Nagaland problem be made public. Slogans against Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and PM Modi were raised which further heated up the atmosphere. NMMP leader from Delhi Rumi Choudhury along with several other indegenious organisation leaders were present during the convention.
