Minor girl dies in Golaghat after train hits a passenger vehicle

The 12067 UP Janasatabdi train struck a Tata Magic passenger car bearing registration number AS 05 C 7850 in Khokonguri at Tengani under Dhansiri Subdivision, on Friday evening, killing a minor girl of eight years old, Railway police said.

According to the report, the vehicle was traveling over the tracks where no railway crossing was available while the train approached in Tangani area.

Railway Police sources informed that one person including the driver managed to come out of the vehicle, however, the minor girl couldn't.
