Minor girl drowns in Kopili River in Nagaon's Kampur

At a time when the entire nation was celebrating Holi, a minor girl named Janmoni Das (14) drowned while taking a bath in Kopili River in Nagaon's Kampur after Holi celebrations on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased girl was a resident of Kampur's Charaihagi area.

When she didn't come back to home the family members and other villagers launched search operation in the river.

Later the locals spotted her body from the river and immediately admitted her to a local hospital, but doctors declared her brought dead.
