NIA wanted NDFB(S) cadre gunned down

During a joint operation conducted by a team of 5th Garhwal Rifles of the Indian Army and Chirang Police, a NDFB(S) cadre wanted by the NIA was gunned down on 4th February 2018 in Chirang district. The insurgent has been identified as Platoon Commander Jaolang and one .22 pistol, one 7.62 pistol along with a hand grenade was recovered from his possession.
