Rail connectivity disrupted in Golaghat and Sivasagar districts

The state-wide protest arising from the 12-hour bandh called by 46 organizations in protest against the Centre's bid to pass Citizenship (Ammendment) Bill has gained massive momentum in Golaghat and Sivasagar district as well. Instances of rail blockades and huge protests have been witnessed in Golaghat district and Amguri in Sivasagar district of Assam. The railway routes has been disrupted.
