Senior Police Officer Rakesh Roushan takes charge as New Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kokrajhar

Senior Police Officer Rakesh Roushan took charge as the New Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kokrajhar district.

Speaking to media persons after taking charge of his new office, SP sought cooperation from the public to maintain peace and harmony in the district. The entire police department, including me as a SP of the district is here serves the people. If there is any problem anyone can meet me in the office or called me or give any information. I am sure to get help and cooperation from all including the media.

When asked about the forthcoming BTC election, he said he is confident that the election will be peaceful one. We will ensure that the election passed off peaceful and do whatever necessary to ensure peaceful election.
