Tripura state Congress criticized the BJP-IPFT Government Budget

The opposition Congress strongly criticized the first Budget of the BJP-IPFT coalition government of Tripura presented on Tuesday last in the state assembly. At a press meet held at Congress Bhawan, Ex-MLA of Tripura Gopal Ray termed the budget as Jhumla or hollow assurances without any ray of hope for employment opportunities for the youth. The Congress state leaders also alleged that the budget has been prepared following the earlier left front government budget presented in the state. The Congress leaders expressing their concern on increase of petrol and diesel which in turn is going to hike prices of essential commodities.
