Unknown miscreants pelted stone at BTC Chief's vehicle in Chirang, No casualties

Some unknown miscreants on Thursday evening pelted stones from both sides while they were returning from Ultapani near Indo Bhutan border.

Talking to reporters, Seuli Brahma Mohilary, wife of BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary said she along with the CHD (I/C) Jajnabati Basumatary (Mohilary) were returning from Ultapani Shiva temple when their vehicle Land Cruiser they were travelling came under attack by unknown miscreants at around 5.30 pm in the Chirang reserve forest under Haltugaon Forest division.

She said their vehicle was attacked from both sides with stones but escaped unhurt. The vehicle got some minor damage.

The driver of the vehicle said the miscreants pelted stones just after the escort vehicle passed the spot. He said there could be 10-12 miscreants who pelted stones.

No one could be ascertained as to whose hand is there behind the act.
