1st Jahar Brahma Memorial Football Tournament 2018 comes to an end

Kokrajhar: The final match of 1st Jahar Brahma Memorial Football Tournament 2018, organized by Jahar Brahma Foundation, kicked off at Kamalsing Orgeng Club Field.

Many important dignitaries attended the final Match of the tournament which includes Sri Hemandranath Brahma, President, Assam Football Association, Sri Rajen Singh, Superintendent of police Kokrajhar, Sri Rahindra Brahma, Ex-MCLA, Secretary Gossaigaon District Sports Association.

The final match of the tournament was played between AiBhandar Daogafu Club and Gambaribil FC. The AiBhandar Daogafu Club managed a stunning 2-0 win to clinch the trophy.

The winning team was awarded by Sri Hemandranath Brahma, President Assam Football Association and Smt Bakthi Brahma wife of Late Jahar Brahma. The players of the winning team were awarded medal.

There were 16 teams who took part in the tournament

Late Jahar Brahma was an Editor of newspaper Bodoland Sansri and he was a preacher of Brahma religion.
