Assam Chess Club organizing Debendranath Sarma Memorial Chess

GUWAHATI: Assam Chess Club is organising the 1st Debendranath Sarma Memorial All India Open Children Chess Championship on August 1. The tournament is open to all children in the age group of 18 years and below which will be played on the popular online platform chess.com website. Participants can play the event by simply logging into the website from their mobile, tablet or computer.

The tournament carries a total prize fund of Rs. 1,50,000 in form of scholarship and registration is free of cost.

Interested participants should log in to the website www.assamchessclub.com for confirming their registration. This is stated in a release by Nandan Buragohain, Secretary of Assam Chess Club.
