GUWAHATI: Assam showcased their dominance in the Women’s U23 T20 Trophy, securing a semifinal spot with a commanding 43-run victory over Kerala in the quarter-finals held in Trivandrum on Saturday.

Assam, bat first in the game, posted a competitive total of 131/6 in their allotted 20 overs. The team’s strong start was provided by openers Khusi Sarma and Gayatri Gurung, who put up an impressive 72-run partnership for the first wicket.
