Assam team selected for Senior National Taekwondo
All Assam Taekwondo Association picked the Assam team for the upcoming 39th Senior National (Kyorugi) and 12th Senior National (Poomsae) Taekwondo Championship which will be held in Guwahati from September 9.
GUWAHATI: All Assam Taekwondo Association picked the Assam team for the upcoming 39th Senior National (Kyorugi) and 12th Senior National (Poomsae) Taekwondo Championship which will be held in Guwahati from September 9.
The selected players are - Kyorugi Boy’s: Nirman Rupam Kashyap (Under 54kg), Sansuma Narzary (U-58kg), Dibakar Duwarah (U-63kg), Rishab Choudhury (U-68kg), Jubaraj Roy (U-74kg), Ritul Nath (U-80), Akash Tyagi (U-87kg), Sanjib Kr. Choudhury (Over 87kg).
Kyorugi Girl’s: Nisha Dolley (Under 46kg), Manumati Dohutia (U-49kg), Nayatri Chetia (U-53kg), Bonsikha Baruah (U-57kg), Joyshree Rani Konwar (U-62kg), Aastharani Khanikar (U-67kg), Monika Baruah (U-73kg), Pooja Kakoti (Over 73kg).
Moreover, Ravi Choudhury, Anushka P Gogoi, Rishav Choudhury, Pritam Kishor Borah, Debdas Kr. Roy, Mahasweta Kashyap, Akanshya P Gogoi, Shweta Sharma, Ajoy Basfore, Praban Saikia, L Rajkumar Singha, Himan Lahkar, Enamul Karim Md. Zakaria, Chandan Biswas, Utpol Mondal will participate in different events of Poomsae category.
