GUWAHATI: Assam weightlifter Kapil Sonowal clinched a gold medal in the Commonwealth Weightlifting held at Noida today. The weightlifter, hails from Charaideo, participated in the 102 kg cate-gory and on way to win the gold medal he lifted 117kg in snatch and 152 kg in clean and jerk.
