
GUWAHATI: In a stunning exhibition of sporting talent, Rohan Barooah, a French language instructor from Assam, was in the limelight at the 7th National Masters Games Swimming Championship organized at the Punjab Sports Complex in Mohali.
The Super Masters Games and Sports Federation had hosted the event, and Rohan won a whopping total of five medals, including four silver and one bronze.
Rohan's silver medal victory was achieved in a series of competitive events like the 50-meter Butterfly, along with the 100 and 200-meter Freestyle race.
He also contributed significantly to his team's victory in the 4×50 meter Freestyle relay by winning a silver medal. Rohan's exhibition of skill in the 4×50 meter Medley relay paid off with a bronze medal, adding to the credentials of a leading player among the swimming community.
