Astha, Shristi Share Gold in Women’s 100m Butterfly at Senior Nationals

GUWAHATI: Assam swimmer Astha Choudhury (represented RSPB) and Odisha’s Shristi Upadhaya shared the gold medal in the women 100m Butterfly on the opening day in the 78th Senior National Aquatic Championship in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Both the swimmers clocked 1:03.05 and the result declared in a photo finish. Dhinidhi Desinghu of Karnataka finished third. In the men’s 100m Butterfly Bikram Changmai, representing RSPB, won a bronze clocking 54.56s.
