Barcelona winger Roony Bardghji suffers ACL rupture

NEW DELHI: Barcelona’s young Swedish winger Roony Bardghji faces surgery in the coming days after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee, the Spanish champions announced on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old, who joined Barca last summer from FC Copenhagen, was injured in training on Monday and could be sidelined for at least six to seven months, according to the local media oulets. IANS
