
NEW DELHI: India women’s team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana were retained in Grade A of the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) central contract list, announced on Monday. All-rounder Deepti Sharma was also retained in the Grade A category. There were only four players in Grade B with Rajeshwari Gayakwad, whose last India appearance came in July 2024, missing out on a contract this year.
