Big victory for Assam in Sub-Junior Women’s National hockey

GUWAHATI: Assam secured their third victory in the 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Women’s National Championship, defeating Telangana 6-2 in Ranchi on Sunday.

Ritika Tigga led the charge with a brilliant hat-trick, while Jyoshna Ekka and Roshni Burh added one goal each. Telangana managed to pull two goals back through Anu Kumari and Varshitha, but couldn’t match Assam’s dominant performance.
