Bodousa Cup Football Championship to kick off from December 4

GUWAHATI: The 13th Bodousa Cup Football Championship will kick off from December 4 in different venues. Final is scheduled to be held on December 19 at Tinsukia.

Addressing the media here today the President of the Badousa Sports Club Arunjyoti Moran said that this time the competition would be held in 16 different venues and more than 40 teams including OIL, Assam Police Blues, Kerala United FC, Rajasthann United FC will participate in the competition. Champion will be awards cash prize Rs 2 lakh while the runners up team will be richer by Rs 1 Lakh. Third and fourth place team of the meet will also receive cash award of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively. The media briefing was also attended by the secretary of the Assam Olympic Association Lakhya Konwar and former MLA Narayan Deka.
