GUWAHATI: Brahmaputra Boys beat Kaziranga Heroes by 4 wickets in a rain affected match in the Assam T20 Challengers Trophy at the Judges Field here today. Invited to bat, Kaziranga Heroes scored 125-7 in 17 overs. Denish Das (45), top scorer of the innings, played 34 balls and hit six boundaries. In reply Brahmaputra Boys reached the target in 16. 3 overs thanks to a nice knock from Rishav Das (43, 32 balls, 4X6 and 6X1).
Earlier the first game between Subansiri Champs and Manas Tigers was abandoned because of wet ground and the points were shared between the two teams.
