NEW DELHI: Cristiano Ronaldo is set to extend his stay at Al Nassr and sign a new deal with the Saudi Pro League club, reports suggested on Wednesday.

Despite rumours of him planning to move clubs to participate in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup 2025 floating around, Ronaldo confirmed earlier this month that he will not be part of the tournament.

He has recorded 93 goals and 19 assists in 105 appearances across all competitions for the Saudi club, but is yet to win a league title.

In the recently concluded season, Al Nassr finished third in the points table, missing out on a spot in next year’s AFC Champions League Elite and instead will play in the AFC Champions League 2. Agencies
