Durand Cup: Mohun Bagan SG thrash Diamond Harbour FC to enter quarterfinals

KOLKATA: ISL champion Mohun Bagan Super Giant overwhelmed its city rival Diamond Harbour FC 5-1 in its final Group-B league outing of Durand Cup 2025, at the Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday, to secure its place in quarterfinal.

Anirudh Thapa began the scoring process in the 19th minute before Jamie Maclaren (35), Liston Colaco (51-penalty), Sahal Abdul Samad (64) and substitute Jason Cummings (80) scored once each to complete the impressive victory for last year’s runner-up. Agencies
