GUWAHATI : Assam won five medals on the opening day of the East Zone Khelo India Women Track Cycling Championship which got under way at the LNIPE complex at Tapesia today.
Medal winners: Chayanika Gogoi ( Time Trial, Bronze, elite), Debi Chabukdhara (Time Trial, Sub Junior, Silver), Bishmita Sarma (Time Trial, Sub Junior, Bronze), Tinkle Gogoi (Sprint, Sub Junior, Silver) and Bishmita Sarma (Sprint, Sub Junior, Bronze).
