Elvis to swim Mumbai coastline

GUWAHATI: Former international swimmer Elvis Ali Hazarika will participate in a relay swimming around the coastline of Mumbai. Altogether three swimmers will participate in the event which will kick off on March 8 from the Gate Way of India in Mumbai.

Disclosing the news to the media Elvis today said, "The swim will be called Indo-Arabian Gateway Swim". The main aim of this swim is to spread awareness about sea and river water pollution."

He also added, altogether three swimmers would participate in this event. Two other swimmers are Rimo Saha and Ganesh Palande. The trio will swim in Arabian sea along with its adjoining water courses covering a circular stream around 168 kms before the event came to an end at Gate Way of India on March 10.
