Los Angeles: Golden State Warriors on Wednesday stunned the host Los Angeles Lakers 121-114 on opening night with help of Stephen Curry triple-double and Nemanja Bjelica double-double.

Despite 5 for 21 shooting, Curry ended score 21 points which was highest in the team. Further, he added 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while on the other hand Poole garbbed 20 points for the warriors.

In the match, Warriors also took revenge of the loss by the Lakers in the NBA's new play-in tournament last session with the help of Bjelica's who scored 15 points and 11 rebounds, outscoring its counterparts 55-29.

For Lakers, Anthony Davis had 33 points while LeBron James with 34 points led all the scorers.
