Junior Hockey: Bihar Triumphs Over Assam in East Zone Tournament

GUWAHATI: The ASMITA Junior East Zone Girls Hockey Championship got underway on Saturday at the Md Tayabulla Hockey Stadium. The opening ceremony was attended by Assam’s first NIS hockey coach, Mohan Chandra Bora, and Assam Hockey president Tapan Kumar Das. In the opening match of the tournament, hosts Assam went down to Bihar by 0–2.
