Kailash Sarma chess concludes

GUWAHATI: The 5th edition of Kailash Nath Sarma memorial Invitational Inter School Children Chess Championship 2023 came to an end in the city today. Asik Soren, Abhirup Saikia, Jisha Jain, Afsheen Afsha Zaman and Prakash Nath clinched titles in various categories. The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Kausar Jamil Hilalay, Secretary, Department of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam, Mridul Kumar Mahanta, President, Assam Chess Club, Krishanjan Chanda, Principal, South Point School, Balendra Mohan Chakravarty, Director Abhiruchi, Mrinalini Devi, wife of Late Kailash Nath Sarma and others.
