Lewis Hamilton 37th Birthday: Celebrating The Legacy of The Racing Driver

Lewis Hamilton known originally as Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton MBE HonFREng turned a year older today, celebrates his 37th birthday on Friday 7 January 2022.

Friends and fans from across the world pour birthday wishes and showers blessings over the racing champion on his 37th birthday making the day special for him.

In the year 1998, Hamilton was first introduced to McLaren Young Driver Program at the very young age of 13 and since then he has been breaking new ground every time. In 2007, the driver made his debut for McLaren when he was already named in the circle of racing.

Cat present Hamilton competes in Formula One for Mercedes and previously driven for McLaren from the year 2007 to 2012. Hamilton won the Formula Third Euro series in the year 2005 and in 2003 he won the Formula Renault Championship. He then started his move for GP2 racing and won the title by defeating Nelson Piquet Jr. in 2006.

Hamilton won his first world championship just after one year of his debut with an ending pass on Timo Glock by taking the title from racer Falip Massas. With Marcedes, he then successfully brought 6 more international titles.

Sir Lewis Hamilton is one of those international athletes who have sailed on the wind of their achievements to address problems far beyond the trivial boundaries of sports.

As of 2021, Hamilton earns a huge salary of 5.5 crores USD, he is regarded as one of the greatest racing car drivers and the 2nd oldest driver on the grid after Fernando Alonso. He has hundred pole positions and hundred winnings in Formula one at just 37 years of his life.

Apart from his career in racing, the British nationalist Hamilton is also recognized worldwide for his collaboration with fashion brands and for his activism.

A biography book on Lewis Hamilton was written by himself depicting the journey of his life. The book was titled 'Lewis Hamilton: My Story' and was originally published in 2007.
