40th Inter-District Taekwondo Championship Begins in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The 40th Inter-District Taekwondo Championship got under way at the DTRP Stadium in Guwahati on Monday. Around 1,200 athletes from 36 districts are competing in the prestigious event. The championship was formally inaugurated by All Assam Taekwondo Association president and MLA Balin Chetia. Also present at the opening ceremony was the association’s secretary Hiranya Saikia. The competition features events in multiple categories, including cadet, junior, and senior divisions for both men and women.
