6 Assam Boxers in National Camp for AIBA World Elite Women’s Boxing Championship

GUWAHATI: Six senior Women Boxers of Assam are invited by the Boxing Federation of India for selection trial of Indian Boxing team for forthcoming AIBA World Elite Women’s Boxing Championship.

The selected Boxers are— Bhagyabati Kachari (81 kg), Lovlina Borgohain (69 kg,) Alari Boro (75 kg), Rumi Gogoi (75 kg), Pwilao Basumatary (64 kg) and Jamuna Boro (57 kg). The trial camp got underway today at New Delhi and will be concluded on August 14. Delhi will host the event from November 15.
