All Assam Ranking Badminton kicks off

GUWAHATI: All Assam Ranking Badminton Tournament 2023 got under way at the Kanaklata Indoor Stadium here on Tuesday. Harmeet Singh, Special DGP, Assam Police, graced the occasion as the chief guest and also inaugurated the tournament. Other dignitaries present on this occasion included Omar Rashid, joint secretary of Badminton Association of India, Gautam Mahanta, treasurer of the Assam Badminton Association and Paresh Chandra Das, president of the Guwahati Sports Association. Altogether 700 players from 27 Districts are taking part in this tournament.
