Antariksh Tamuly of Assam bagged double crown in U-16 category of AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament

GUWAHATI: Antariksh Tamuly of Assam bagged the double crown in the boys U-16 category of the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament held at Ghaziabad, UP on Sunday. In the singles final he beat Mohd Sees of Noida 6-1, 6-2.

In the doubles Antariksh partnering with Varun Singh defeated Chirandeep Mazumdar and his partner 6-0, 6-2 in the title clash. Meanwhile Nazneen Zaffar of Assam lifted the women's doubles title in the ITF Seniors +45 category partnering Sandhya Rani of Maharashtra. In the final they defeated Sonal Vohra (DEL) / Urvashi (HR) 6-2.
