Assam Clinches 8 Medals at Inaugural Khelo India Beach Games

GUWAHATI: Assam finished with 8 medals in the first Khelo India Beach Games which concluded in Diu on Thursday. Sepak Takraw team gave one gold and one bronze medal to Assam in the Games. Other medals came in Pencak Silat where Assam won two silver and four bronze medals. It may be mentioned here that there were altogether 6 disciplines in the first edition of the Games.
