Assam Cricket Association officials meet Bimal Borah

GUWAHATI: Delegate of Assam Cricket Association led by its Secretary Devajit Saikia, met Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Bimal Borah in his office chamber yesterday. A detailed discussion on the allotment of Government Khas Land for the purpose of developing cricket infrastructure in different districts was held in the meeting. Borah, during the meeting, also discussed with the District Revenue Authorities of Dibrugarh, Sonitpur, Tinsukia, Karimganj, Udalguri, Hailakandi, Lakhimpur and Sivasagar through video conference and directed them to work expeditiously and produce positive results to that effect.

It is to be mentioned here that Assam Cricket Association has recently taken a series of steps to develop cricket infrastructure around the State.
