GUWAHATI: Assam suffered a disappointing 9-wicket loss to Delhi in the semifinal of the BCCI Women’s U-23 T20 Trophy, held in Trivandrum on Monday.

Opting to bat first, Assam struggled against a disciplined Delhi bowling attack, managing only 69 runs in 18.5 overs. Maina Narah top-scored with 24, while Madhu (4/10) and Priya Mishra (2/19) dominated with the ball. In reply, Delhi chased down the modest target with ease, reaching 70/1 in 14.5 overs. Tanisha Singh remained unbeaten on 37, supported by Pragya Rawat’s unbeaten 25, as Delhi cruised into the final.
